Fascinators and headbands are back - thanks largely to the neo-burlesque movement.
Whether you are wearing it to a special event such as a wedding, ball or the races; just wearing them out for a night of drinks and dancing (as we ourselves love to do) or even as daily wear, there is a creation that will be perfect for you.
We design and create original head wear under The Pin-Up's Powder Room name as well as featuring guest designers' work. This range includes dramatic fascinators, headbands, headpieces and adornments made of quality feathers, net, brooches, embellishments, veiling and other millinery materials.

We aim to create exactly what you are looking for, so if you find a design style that you love but would like it in different colours, or with certain amendments then just let us know. Named after one of Perth's most loved burlesque performers, Miss A'dora Derriere (not pictured), this piece is a silver tear drop hat with black lace overlay, black satin trim and a black satin bow with deep black acrylic jewel. Beware! She bites!
Tear drop style, heavy weight felt hat in light moss green/grey (also available in light silver/lilac). Covered in black lace web fabric with three plastic spiders ready to bite those not paying attention to this garment's owner! A black satin bow with black gem detail and black cotton trim complete the look. Metal clip on the back for easy attachment.

This piece is a mini top hat (black felt) with slide comb attachment. A large emerald green ostrich plume sweeps across the hat, and is combined with a small black ostrich feather, black dried coque feathers and black russian veiling. A lace butterfly sits atop the ostrich plume and a stunning vintage-look emerald glass brooch features on the side. Emerald diamantes and sequins loop around the brim of the top hat.

This art deco influenced piece looks like something straight out of the 1920's. Beautiful soft black and blood red feathers form a perfect circle, in the middle of which lies a dark jewel. Underneath has alligator comb attachment for easy use.

This dramatic piece consists of a black round sinamay base with slide comb attachment. Red stripped feathers create a strong colour contrast and are set against super fine black net. The net veil skims the face and is adorned with a lace black butterfly. Rhinestones feature at the base of the feathers.
